Changing Your Password and Security Settings in BookLive

Keeping your BookLive account secure starts with a strong password. Whether you want to update your current password from within your account or you’ve been locked out and need to reset it, this guide walks you through both methods step by step.

Method 1: Change Your Password While Logged In #

Use this method when you know your current password and simply want to update it.

  1. Log into your BookLive dashboard at booklive.com/login.
  2. In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or the grey avatar icon.
  3. Click Settings from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the Settings page, click the Security tab.
  5. In the Update Password section, fill in the following fields:
    • Current Password — enter the password you currently use to log in.
    • New Password — enter your new password (minimum 8 characters).
    • Confirm Password — re-enter your new password to confirm it matches.
  6. Click Update.

You’ll see a confirmation message at the top of the form once your password has been updated successfully. Your next login will require the new password.

Method 2: Reset Your Password If You’re Locked Out #

Use this method if you’ve forgotten your password and can’t log in.

  1. Go to booklive.com/login.
  2. Click Forgot Your Password? below the login form.
  3. Enter the email address associated with your BookLive account.
  4. Click Send Password Reset Link.
  5. Check your inbox for an email from BookLive with a reset link. Click the link in the email.
  6. On the reset page, enter and confirm your new password.
  7. Click Reset Password to save your new credentials.

You’ll be redirected to your dashboard automatically after a successful reset.

Tips & Notes #

  • Password minimum: BookLive requires passwords to be at least 8 characters long.
  • Check your spam folder: If you don’t see the password reset email within a few minutes, check your spam or promotions folder.
  • Use a unique password: Avoid reusing passwords from other accounts. A mix of letters, numbers, and symbols makes your account harder to compromise.
  • Wrong current password: If you receive a “current password is incorrect” error, double-check for caps lock or extra spaces and try again.
