Minimum Requirements for Public Visibility #
To appear in public directories, your group needs:

- 5%+ completion: At least basic profile info filled in
Without these, your profile will not appear in search results even if published.
Private Event Handling #
When displaying past performances:
- Private events show as “Private Event in City, State”
- Client details are protected
- Venue may still be shown (based on settings)
Recommended Visibility Strategy #
For New Groups #
- Keep profile unpublished while building
- Add photos, videos, and bio
- Set up categories
- Publish when profile is at least 50% complete
For Established Groups #
- Show as much as possible
- Completed profiles convert better
- Reviews and performances build credibility
For Privacy-Conscious Groups #
- Hide performances if clients require privacy
- Hide venues if performing at private residences
- Keep reviews and media visible for credibility
Tips #
- More visibility = more bookings: Hidden sections reduce your appeal
- Hide empty sections: Better to hide than show empty areas
- Review periodically: As you add content, enable more sections
- Check your public view: Visit your public URL to see what clients see
