Overview #
The Video Sales Page is where prospects watch your showcase video after submitting their information. This page is designed to build trust, demonstrate your talent, and motivate prospects to book a consultation call. This guide shows you how to configure an effective video page.
Accessing Video Page Setup #
- Navigate to your group page
- Click the Marketing tab
- Select Funnel Setup
- Go to Step 2: Video Sales Letter Content
Video Configuration Options #
Option 1: Single Video for All Event Types #
Use one showcase video for all prospects regardless of their event type. This is the simplest option and works well if:
- Your video showcases a variety of performances
- You serve similar event types
- You want a simpler setup
To configure:
- Enter your YouTube or Vimeo video URL in the Video URL field
- Make sure Use Different Videos Per Event Type is turned off
Option 2: Different Videos Per Event Type #
Show different videos based on the event type the prospect selected. This creates a more personalized experience:
- Wedding prospects see your wedding performances
- Corporate prospects see your corporate events
- Each video speaks directly to their needs
To configure:
- Turn on Use Different Videos Per Event Type
- Enter video URLs for each event type you serve
- Leave blank for event types where you want to use the default video
Supported Video Platforms #
The video page supports:
- YouTube: Paste any YouTube video URL
- Vimeo: Paste any Vimeo video URL
The video player automatically embeds based on the URL format.
Direct Video Links #
When using different videos per event type, you get shareable direct links for each:
booklive.com/funnel/your-url/video/weddingbooklive.com/funnel/your-url/video/corporatebooklive.com/funnel/your-url/video/private-party
Use these links to send prospects directly to the video for their event type, bypassing the lead capture page (useful for returning visitors or email links).
What Prospects See on the Video Page #
The video page displays:
- Your showcase video – Prominently featured at the top
- Client reviews – Testimonials from satisfied clients
- Star rating – Your aggregate review score
- Calendar embed – For booking consultation calls
- Auto-generated proposal – If configured (appears after a delay)
Reviews and Social Proof #
The video page automatically pulls your best reviews:
- Shows reviews with 4+ star ratings
- Displays up to 6 recent reviews
- Shows your aggregate rating and total review count
The more positive reviews you have, the more trust you build with prospects.
Proposal Reveal Feature #
If you have automatic proposal creation enabled, the video page can display the generated proposal to prospects. You can configure:
- Reveal delay: How long after page load before showing the proposal
- This encourages prospects to watch the video first
The proposal shows your selected products and pricing, allowing prospects to review options before booking a call.
Video Best Practices #
Keep It Under 10 Minutes #
Attention spans are limited. Aim for 5-8 minutes that cover:
- Who you are
- What you offer
- Why you are different
- Client testimonials
- Call to action
Show Real Performances #
Use footage from actual events. Prospects want to see what you really sound and look like in action.
Include Client Testimonials #
If possible, include video testimonials from happy clients. Social proof is powerful.
End with a Clear Call to Action #
Tell viewers exactly what to do next – book a call using the calendar below the video.
Optimize for Mobile #
Many prospects will watch on their phones. Ensure your video looks good on smaller screens.
Testing Your Video Page #
Before launching your funnel:
- Submit a test lead through your lead page
- Verify you are redirected to the video page
- Check that the correct video plays (especially if using event-type videos)
- Verify reviews are displaying
- Test the calendar embed
- Check on both desktop and mobile
