A Virtual Showcase Video is a presentation-style sales video that walks potential clients through your services — who you are, what you offer, what past clients say, and how to book you. Unlike a Sizzle Reel (which highlights raw performance footage), a Virtual Showcase Video is a structured slide-based presentation that you build in BookLive and then hand off to the Dream Team for professional video production. You’ll find Virtual Showcase Video under Marketing in your left sidebar.
What Is a Virtual Showcase Video? #
A Virtual Showcase Video is built around a series of slides — each covering a specific part of your sales story, such as an introduction, client testimonials, a performance sample, and a call to action. BookLive’s AI tools help you fill in the bullet points and narration for each slide, then automatically generate a Google Slides presentation from your content. Once you’re happy with the deck, you can submit it to the Dream Team and they’ll produce a finished, polished video you can send to prospects.
You can create separate Virtual Showcase Videos for different event types — for example, one for weddings, one for corporate events, and one general-purpose version.
Step 1: Create a New Virtual Showcase Video #
- Log in to BookLive at https://booklive.com/login.
- In the left sidebar, click Marketing, then select Virtual Showcase Video.
- Click New Video.
- Enter a name for your video (e.g., Wedding Virtual Showcase).
- Choose a starting template:
- Wedding Virtual Showcase — A 17-slide sequence optimized for bridal inquiries, including ceremony walkthrough slides and multiple performance samples.
- Corporate Events Virtual Showcase — A 13-slide sequence covering professional credentials, event logistics, and corporate testimonials.
- General Virtual Showcase — A 12-slide sequence that works for any event type.
- Start from Scratch — Begin with zero slides and build your own structure.
- Click Create. Your new video opens with all template slides pre-added and ready to fill in.
Step 2: Build Your Slides #
Each slide in the presentation covers a specific part of your sales story. Click any slide row to expand it and edit its content.
Slide Types Available #
- Introduction — Who you are and what you do.
- Testimonial — A single client review (select one from your approved reviews).
- Bold Promise — The transformation or experience you deliver.
- Expert Credentials — Your background, training, and experience.
- The Problem — What clients risk by not prioritizing great entertainment.
- The Solution — How your act addresses that problem.
- Event Walkthrough — A segment-by-segment breakdown of your role at an event.
- Song Sample — A video from your Media Library showcasing a specific song or style.
- Booking Process — How someone books you, step by step.
- Offer Stack — Everything included in your service with dollar values assigned.
- Testimonial Wall — A grid of 4–6 short client quotes (select from your approved reviews).
- Call to Action — The next step you want viewers to take (e.g., schedule a free consultation).
- Custom — A freeform slide for anything not covered above.
Editing a Slide #
For each slide you can fill in:
- Slide Title — The heading shown on the slide.
- Slide Content — Bullet points that appear on screen. Click Generate next to the field to have AI write these for you based on your group profile, reviews, and packages.
- Narration Script — What you say aloud while the slide is shown. Click Generate to have AI write your script. It auto-fills content first if the slide is empty.
- Video (Song Sample slides only) — Select a video from your Media Library or paste a URL from YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Google Drive, or Dropbox.
- Review Selection (Testimonial and Testimonial Wall slides) — Choose one or more approved reviews to display.
Drag the handle on the left side of any slide to reorder it. Click Remove inside an expanded slide to delete it. Click Add Another Slide at the bottom to add a new one at any time.
Step 3: Generate All Content and Scripts #
Once your slides are set up, use the Actions panel on the right side to fill everything in at once:
- Click Generate All Content — BookLive’s AI writes bullet points for every slide that doesn’t yet have content, pulling from your group profile, reviews, and packages.
- Click Generate All Scripts — AI writes a narration script for each slide (auto-filling content first if any slides are still empty).
You can also click Generate on individual slides to refine specific sections without regenerating everything.
Step 4: Generate Your Google Slides Presentation #
Click Generate Slides in the Actions panel. BookLive will create a Google Slides presentation from your slide content and script, and display an Open Presentation link at the top of the page when it’s ready. This gives you a shareable, editable deck to review before submitting to the Dream Team.
Step 5: Request Dream Team Editing #
When you’re happy with your slides and narration, click Request Editing in the Actions panel. BookLive runs a preflight check to confirm your slides are ready, then lets you add optional notes for the video editor. Click Submit Request to send it to the Dream Team.
Once an edit request is submitted:
- Your slides are locked while the Dream Team works on them — you won’t be able to make changes until editing is complete.
- An Edit Request card appears below the Actions panel showing the request status (Pending, In Progress, or Completed).
- When the Dream Team finishes, a Finished Video link appears at the top of the page with the final video URL.
Managing Multiple Videos #
The Virtual Showcase Video index page shows all of your videos with a slide count, filled-slide count, event type badge, and status chip (In Progress or Completed). Click any row to open that video’s planner. Use the trash icon on a row to delete a video — this cannot be undone.
To rename a video, open it and click the pencil icon next to the title.
Tips & Notes #
- Each template is a starting point — you can add, remove, or reorder slides to fit your style after choosing a template.
- Testimonial and Testimonial Wall slides pull from your approved reviews in BookLive. Make sure your Marketing > Reviews section has approved reviews before filling these slides.
- Song Sample slides link directly to videos in your Media Library. Add your performance videos there first so you can select them quickly when building slides.
- AI-generated content is a starting point — always review and personalize the bullet points and narration scripts before submitting to the Dream Team.
- You can create one Virtual Showcase Video per event type (Wedding, Corporate, General) for targeted outreach, or a single general-purpose video to use as your default.
