Customizing Your Group Home Dashboard in BookLive

BookLive’s Group Home is your starting point every time you log in — and you can arrange it exactly the way you work. The dashboard is made up of four panels (Calendar, Upcoming Tasks, Training, and Stats), and you can drag them between the left and right columns to put what matters most front and center. Your layout is saved to your account, so it persists across sessions and doesn’t affect what your co-leaders see.

Before You Begin #

  • Dashboard customization is available on desktop browsers only. On mobile, the home screen uses a fixed layout.
  • You must be logged in to your BookLive account at https://booklive.com/login.
  • Each group leader or co-leader on your account has their own independent layout preference.

The Four Dashboard Panels #

Your Group Home contains the following panels, which you can arrange freely between the left and right columns:

  • Calendar — A monthly view of your upcoming performances. Defaults to the left column.
  • Upcoming Tasks — A consolidated list of upcoming tasks from your Gig Vault partnerships (cadence steps and one-off tasks) and client records, sorted by due date. Defaults to the left column.
  • Training — Links to BookLive training resources and onboarding content. Defaults to the right column.
  • Stats — A summary of your group’s performance metrics. Defaults to the right column.

Step 1: Open Customize Mode #

  1. Log in to BookLive and navigate to your group’s home page.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Customize layout button (it has a tune icon next to the label).

The page enters edit mode. Each panel now shows a handle bar at the top with a drag icon and the panel’s name.

Step 2: Rearrange Panels #

  1. Click and hold the handle bar at the top of any panel — the cursor changes to a grab hand.
  2. Drag the panel to its new position. You can move it up or down within the same column, or drag it across to the opposite column.
  3. Release to drop the panel in its new location. The layout updates instantly.

You can rearrange as many panels as you like before exiting edit mode.

Step 3: Save Your Layout #

Click the Done button at the bottom of the page. Edit mode exits and your new layout is saved automatically to your account. The panel handles disappear and the dashboard returns to its normal view.

Resetting to the Default Layout #

If you want to return all panels to their original positions, enter customize mode (click Customize layout) and then click the Reset button that appears next to Done. The layout immediately reverts to the default — Calendar and Upcoming Tasks on the left, Training and Stats on the right — and the change is saved.

Using the Upcoming Tasks Panel #

The Upcoming Tasks panel surfaces tasks that need your attention across the platform in one place:

  • Partnership cadence tasks — steps in active Sales Cadences assigned to Gig Vault partnerships.
  • One-off partnership tasks — individual tasks added directly to partnership records in Gig Vault.
  • Client tasks — tasks added to client records in your Client Management area.

Tasks are sorted by due date, with the most urgent items at the top. Up to five tasks are shown by default; click Show more to expand the full list. Click any task row to jump directly to it in context (the partnership or client record it belongs to). You can also mark a task complete directly from the dashboard by clicking the circle checkbox on the left side of the task row — the task will disappear from the panel once it is marked done.

Urgency coloring helps you prioritize at a glance: overdue and same-day tasks are highlighted in red, while tasks due soon appear in yellow or green.

Tips & Notes #

  • Layout changes are per-user — each leader on your group can set up their own preferred arrangement without affecting anyone else.
  • Dashboard customization is only available on desktop (screens at the medium breakpoint and wider). On mobile and tablet, BookLive displays the standard home layout.
  • If you add a new panel in a future BookLive update, it will appear in its default column without disrupting your existing arrangement.
