If you need to stop syncing your Google Calendar with BookLive, you can disconnect the integration at any time. Here is how to do it and what happens when you disconnect.
How to Disconnect #
To disconnect your Google Calendar:
- Go to Settings
- Click the Google Calendar tab
- Click Disconnect or Remove Connection
- Confirm the disconnection
What Happens When You Disconnect #
Existing Calendar Events #
Events that were already synced to your Google Calendar will remain there. They are not automatically deleted when you disconnect.
If you want to remove them, you will need to delete them manually from Google Calendar.
Future Syncing #
After disconnecting:
- New performances will not be added to Google Calendar
- Changes to existing performances will not sync
- Cancelled performances will not be removed automatically
Your Settings #
Your sync settings (setup time, starting address) are preserved. If you reconnect later, you will not need to reconfigure everything.
Reasons to Disconnect #
You might want to disconnect if:
- You want to connect a different Google account
- You no longer want automatic calendar sync
- You are troubleshooting sync issues
- You prefer managing your calendar manually
- You are closing your BookLive account
Switching Google Accounts #
To switch to a different Google account:
- Disconnect the current calendar
- Sign out of Google in your browser (optional but recommended)
- Click Connect Google Calendar
- Sign in with your new Google account
- Grant permissions
Revoking Access from Google #
You can also revoke access from the Google side:
- Go to your Google Account settings
- Navigate to Security
- Find Third-party apps with account access
- Locate BookLive
- Click Remove Access
This will break the connection. BookLive will show as disconnected the next time you visit Settings.
Reconnecting Later #
You can reconnect your Google Calendar at any time by following the standard connection process. Your previous settings will be restored.
