Overview #
When you manage multiple groups in BookLive, your calendar can get busy with events from all your groups combined. The group filtering feature lets you focus on one specific group at a time, making it easier to manage your schedule and reduce visual clutter.
How Group Filtering Works #
When you view your dashboard from within a specific group, you can toggle a filter to show only events from that group. This hides performances and tasks from your other groups temporarily.
Enabling Group Filtering #
- Navigate to a specific group by clicking on the group name
- Go to the Group Home Dashboard
- Click the Event Filters button (filter icon) above the calendar
- Toggle Show [Group Name] Events Only to ON
- The calendar will immediately filter to show only that group is events
What Gets Filtered #
When group filtering is enabled:
Filtered (Hidden if from other groups) #
- Performances – Only shows performances belonging to the current group
- Partnership Tasks – Only shows partnership tasks associated with the current group
Always Visible (Not Filtered) #
- Client Tasks – These are shown regardless of group filtering since clients may span multiple groups
- Blackout Dates – Your personal unavailability applies to all groups
Disabling Group Filtering #
- Click the Event Filters button
- Toggle Show [Group Name] Events Only to OFF
- All events from all groups will appear again
Your Filter Preference is Saved #
BookLive remembers your filter setting:
- Your preference is stored in your browser
- It persists when you refresh the page or return later
- The setting is specific to each browser/device you use
When to Use Group Filtering #
Use filtering when: #
- Planning the schedule for one specific group
- Reviewing a group is performance history
- Preparing for a meeting about one particular group
- Your combined calendar feels too cluttered
Turn off filtering when: #
- Checking your overall availability across all groups
- Planning your personal schedule
- Looking for scheduling conflicts between groups
- Getting a complete view of all your commitments
Tips #
- Check your filter status – If you notice missing events, check if filtering is enabled
- Use the main Home view – Navigate to your user Home (not group Home) to always see all events
- Remember blackout dates apply everywhere – They are never filtered because unavailability affects all groups
Troubleshooting #

- The filter option only appears when you are in a group context
- The general Home view does not show this filter
Events are missing from my calendar #

- Click Event Filters and ensure Show Events Only is OFF
- Events from other groups will reappear
