BookLive’s Networking Organizations feature helps you discover local event industry groups and upcoming networking events near you. Use it to find associations, planner networks, and community organizations that can become sources of referrals and new bookings.
Accessing Networking Organizations #
- Log in to BookLive at https://booklive.com/login.
- Open your group from the dashboard.
- In the left sidebar, click Marketing.
- Select Networking Organizations from the Marketing submenu.
The page loads two sections: Networking Groups Near You and Upcoming Events.
Finding Networking Groups Near You #
The top card displays a paginated list of event industry networking organizations within a set radius of your group’s location. Each row shows the organization’s Name (linked to their website) and their Location.
Adjusting the Search Radius #
- Use the Search Radius (miles) slider at the top of the card to set how far BookLive should look.
- The slider ranges from 10 to 100 miles in 10-mile increments. The default is 50 miles.
- The list refreshes automatically as you move the slider.
You can also click Refresh at any time to reload the list manually.
No Groups Found? #
If BookLive can’t find any networking organizations in your area, you’ll see a message letting you know. BookLive automatically submits a request to the Dream Team to research and add organizations near you — no action is needed on your part. Check back within a few business days.
Viewing Upcoming Events #
The Upcoming Events card below the groups list shows scheduled events from local networking organizations. The table includes:
- Date — when the event takes place
- Title — the event name (linked to the event’s page)
- Organization — which networking group is hosting it
- Location — where the event is being held
- Description — a brief summary of the event
Filtering Events by Organization #
- Click the Filter by Organization dropdown in the top-right of the Upcoming Events card.
- Select an organization from the list to show only their events.
- Clear the filter to return to all events.
Click any column header to sort events by that field. Click Refresh to reload the events list.
Tips & Notes #
- BookLive uses your group’s saved location to calculate distances. Make sure your group address is up to date in Account Settings for accurate results.
- Clicking an organization or event name opens the link in a new tab so you don’t lose your place in BookLive.
- Networking organizations listed here are part of the event industry ecosystem — wedding associations, corporate event planner groups, venue coordination networks, and similar — making them valuable sources of referrals and preferred vendor placements.
