Step-by-Step Guide: #
1. Log into Your WordPress Dashboard #
- Open your web browser and go to your site’s URL.
- Add
/wp-admin
to the end of the URL. - Enter your username and password.
- Click the “Log In” button to access your WordPress dashboard.
2. Install the Google Site Kit Plugin #
- On the left-hand side menu, hover over “Plugins.”
- Click “Add New.”
- In the search bar, type “Google Site Kit.”
- The first result should be “Site Kit by Google.” Click the “Install Now” button.
- After the installation is complete, click the blue “Activate” button.
3. Set Up Google Site Kit #
- After activation, you will see a congratulatory message with a “Start Setup” button. Click “Start Setup.”
- Site Kit will check compatibility with your website. Once confirmed, check the box to connect Google Analytics as part of your setup.
