Step-by-Step Guide: #
1. Log into Your BookLive Dashboard #
- Open your web browser and go to BookLive Login.
- Enter your email and password.
- Click the “Log In” button to access your dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Templates Tab #
- Go to your Act Dashboard.
- On the left-hand side, click the “Templates” tab.
- Select “Timelines” to view existing timeline templates.
3. Edit an Existing Timeline Template #
- BookLive provides four pre-made timelines: “Standard Wedding Ceremony,” “Wedding Ceremony + Cocktail Hour,” “Full Catholic Wedding,” and “Wedding Reception.”
- Click on any of these templates to view or edit them.
- You can modify the name of each event, the start offset (when the event happens relative to the start), the duration, and the number of required songs.
- Use the “TBD” checkbox for events with flexible timing.
- Click “Save” to apply your changes.
4. Create a New Timeline Template #
- Go back to the “Timelines” tab.
- Click the blue plus sign (+) in the bottom right corner to create a new template.
- Enter a name for your new template, such as “Birthday Party Template.”
- Start adding events to your timeline by clicking “Add Event.”
- For each event, specify the start offset, duration, number of required songs, and whether it is TBD.
- For example, you might create a “First 45 Minute Set” starting at 0 minutes, with a duration of 45 minutes and 15 songs required.
- Add additional events as needed (e.g., “Birthday Song,” “Second 45 Minute Set”).
- Click “Save” after adding each event.
5. Using the Timeline Template in Performances #
- Once your timeline template is saved, you can apply it to any performance.
- When setting up a performance, select the appropriate timeline template to pull in the events and structure you’ve created.
