Step-by-Step Guide: #
1. Log into Your BookLive Dashboard #
- Open your web browser and go to BookLive Login.
- Enter your email and password.
- Click the “Log In” button to access your dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Performance #
- Locate the gig for which you want to create a contract addendum.
- Open the performance dashboard for the selected gig.
- Go to the “Contract” tab.
3. Create a Contract Addendum #
- In the “Contract” tab, find the actions area with a plus sign (+) on a sheet of paper icon.
- Click the plus sign icon to open the addendum dialog box.
4. Fill Out the Addendum #
- In the addendum dialog box, paste the language for the addendum as provided by your lawyer or that you’ve come up with (e.g., “Both parties agree to change the date to October 25, 2024.”).
- Type your signature in the designated box.
- Ensure the “Send to client for their signature” checkbox is pre-checked.
5. Send the Addendum to the Client #
- Click “Sign” to sign the addendum.
- An email will be sent to the client with a link to view and sign the addendum.
- The addendum will be displayed under the contract in the contract tab.
6. Verify the Addendum #
- To view the contract with the addendum, click the eye icon in the “Contract” tab.
- Scroll to the bottom of the contract to see the addendum section.
- The addendum will display the updated terms, your signature, and the date.
- Once the client signs the addendum, their signature and the date will also be displayed.
