The Workflows tab on a client record gives you a dedicated, client-centric view of every automation sequence that contact is enrolled in. From here you can enroll a client in a new workflow, monitor active enrollments in real time, and pause, resume, or cancel any enrollment — all without leaving the client page.
Opening the Workflows Tab #
- Log in at https://booklive.com/login and navigate to Clients in the left sidebar.
- Click the client’s name to open their record.
- Select the Workflows tab at the top of the record.
Enrolling a Client in a Workflow #
At the top of the Workflows tab you’ll find an Enroll in Workflow card.
- Use the Select a workflow dropdown to choose from your group’s active workflows. Each option shows the workflow name and its description so you can confirm you’re picking the right one.
- Click Enroll Client.
BookLive immediately starts the enrollment. The new enrollment appears in the Active Workflows section below.
Understanding the Active Workflows Section #
Each active enrollment appears as a card showing:
- Workflow name and the date the client was enrolled.
- Status chip — shows the current status (Active or Paused) with a dropdown arrow. Click the chip to take action on the enrollment.
- Progress bar — displays how many steps have been completed out of the total (for example, “3 of 7 steps”).
- Up Next — a preview card showing the type of the next pending step, a brief description, and when it is scheduled to run. If all steps are finished, this area shows “All steps completed.”
Click anywhere on the enrollment card (other than the status chip) to open the full enrollment detail, where you can preview and edit individual email drafts, reschedule steps, and see the complete step timeline.
Pausing an Enrollment #
Pausing temporarily halts a workflow without cancelling it. No further steps will fire while the enrollment is paused.
- Click the Active status chip on the enrollment card.
- Select Pause Enrollment from the dropdown.
The chip updates to Paused immediately.
Resuming a Paused Enrollment #
- Click the Paused status chip.
- Select Resume Enrollment.
The workflow picks up where it left off and continues executing remaining steps on their original schedule.
Cancelling an Enrollment #
Cancelling permanently stops the enrollment and skips all remaining steps. This action cannot be undone.
- Click the status chip on the enrollment card (works from either Active or Paused status).
- Select Cancel Enrollment.
The enrollment moves to the Completed Workflows section with a Cancelled label.
Viewing Completed and Cancelled Enrollments #
The Completed Workflows section at the bottom of the tab lists all past enrollments for this client. Each row shows:
- Workflow name
- Final status (Completed or Cancelled) and the date it ended
- Number of steps completed out of the total
Click any past enrollment to review its full step history in the enrollment detail view.
Tips & Notes #
- The Workflows tab only lists the workflows you have set up in your group. To create or edit workflows, go to Workflows in the left sidebar.
- If a workflow has a Goal configured (such as a proposal being accepted or an invoice being paid), the enrollment will complete automatically when that goal is met — you don’t need to cancel it manually.
- For a group-wide view of all enrollments across all clients, use Workflows → Enrollment History. For a per-workflow view, open a specific workflow and check its Enrollments tab.
