Navigating the Group Home Dashboard

Overview #

The Group Home Dashboard is your central command center in BookLive. From here, you can view all your upcoming performances, track your earnings, manage tasks, and access every feature your group needs. This guide will help you understand the dashboard layout and navigate efficiently.

Dashboard Layout #

The Group Home Dashboard is divided into three main areas:

1. Left Sidebar Navigation #

The left sidebar provides quick access to all group features:

  • Home – Returns you to this dashboard
  • Performances – View and manage all your gigs
  • Clients – Access your client database
  • Venues – Browse and manage venue information
  • Contracts – View and manage contracts
  • Invoices – Track invoices and payments
  • Settings – Configure group preferences
  • Team – Manage group members and roles

2. Center Calendar Panel #

The center of the dashboard displays the HomeCalendar, which shows:

  • Performances – Color-coded by status (green = confirmed, yellow = pending)
  • Partnership Tasks – Purple events for partnership activities
  • Client Tasks – Orange events for client follow-ups
  • Blackout Dates – Gray events marking unavailable dates

3. Right Stats Panel #

The right panel displays your key business metrics:

  • Total Earnings – Your cumulative revenue
  • Total Bookings – Number of confirmed performances
  • Statistics Chart – Visual representation of bookings and earnings over time
  • WTD/MTD/YTD Stats – Week-to-date, month-to-date, and year-to-date figures

Accessing Your Group Dashboard #

To access your Group Home Dashboard:

  1. Log into BookLive at booklive.com
  2. Click on your group name in the top navigation bar
  3. Select Home from the dropdown menu

If you manage multiple groups, you can switch between them using the group selector in the navigation bar.

Quick Actions from the Dashboard #

The dashboard provides several quick actions:

Create a New Performance #

  1. Click the + button in the calendar area
  2. Select New Performance
  3. Fill in the performance details

Add a Blackout Date #

  1. Click on any empty date in the calendar
  2. Or click the + button and select Blackout Date
  3. Enter the reason for unavailability

View Performance Details #

  1. Click on any performance event in the calendar
  2. You will be taken to the performance detail page

Mobile View #

On mobile devices, the dashboard adapts to a single-column layout:

  • Upcoming performances are displayed as cards at the top
  • The gig toggle appears below the upcoming events
  • Stats cards are displayed in a 2-column grid
  • The full calendar is accessible via a modal view

Tips for Using the Dashboard #

  • Bookmark your group dashboard – Save the direct URL for quick access
  • Use keyboard shortcuts – Press arrow keys to navigate months in the calendar
  • Check stats regularly – Monitor your WTD/MTD/YTD to track business growth
  • Set blackout dates early – Block off vacation days and unavailable times in advance
