Music Collections are organizational folders within your song library. They provide:
- Organization – Group related songs together
- Filtering – Quickly find songs by category
- Performance integration – Limit song selection to specific collections

By Genre #

Creating a Music Collection #
- Navigate to your group’s Songs section
- Find the Music Collections area
- Click Create Collection
- Enter a name for the collection
- Save the collection
Adding Songs to Collections #
When creating or editing a song, you can assign it to a collection:
- Open the song’s detail page
- Find the Music Collection dropdown
- Select the appropriate collection
- Save your changes
Using Collections in Performances #
You can link music collections to performances to filter available songs:
- Open a performance
- Go to the timeline section
- Select which collections to include
- When adding songs, only songs from selected collections appear
This is useful when you want to limit song choices to a specific repertoire for an event.
Viewing Collection Contents #
To see all songs in a collection:
- Go to your Songs section
- Click on the collection name
- View all songs organized within that collection
Best Practices #
- Be consistent – Develop a collection strategy and stick to it
- Don’t over-categorize – Too many collections can be confusing
- Use meaningful names – Make collection purposes clear
- Review periodically – Move songs as your repertoire evolves
