Sharing Your Public Review Link in BookLive

BookLive gives you a dedicated, shareable review page you can send to anyone — past clients, event planners, wedding guests, or colleagues — even if they were never part of a booked performance in the system. When someone submits a review through this link, it lands in a pending queue for your approval before it ever appears on your public profile.

Where to Find Your Public Review Link #

  1. Log in to BookLive at https://booklive.com/login.
  2. In the left sidebar, select your group.
  3. Click Marketing in the navigation, then select Reviews.
  4. At the top of the page you’ll see a Collect Reviews section with your unique link already generated. Click Copy Link to copy it to your clipboard.

Your public review URL follows this format:

https://booklive.com/review/your-group-url

You can paste this link anywhere — in follow-up emails, your email signature, social media posts, or your website.

What Reviewers See #

When someone visits your review link, they’ll see a form asking for:

  • Name — the reviewer’s full name
  • Email — used for internal purposes only; not displayed publicly
  • Relationship to your group — Event Planner, Wedding Guest, Hired for Event, Colleague, or Other
  • Star rating — 1 to 5 stars
  • Written review — their comments and feedback

After submitting, reviewers are taken to a success page that may also prompt them to leave a review on any external platforms you’ve added (such as WeddingWire, GigSalad, or Google).

Approving or Rejecting Incoming Reviews #

Every review submitted through your public link requires your explicit approval before it’s visible on your profile. You’ll receive an email notification as soon as a new review comes in.

To manage pending reviews:

  1. Go to MarketingReviews in your group’s sidebar.
  2. Scroll down to the Pending Approval section — reviews waiting for your decision appear here with an orange Pending badge.
  3. Read each review, then choose an action:
    • Click Approve to publish the review to your public profile immediately.
    • Click Delete to permanently remove the review. This cannot be undone.

Managing Approved Reviews #

Once a review is approved and live, you still have two options for managing it:

  • Hide — Removes the review from your public profile without deleting it. Useful if you want to temporarily take it down or reconsider displaying it.
  • Delete — Permanently removes the review. This cannot be reversed.

Tips & Notes #

  • Your public review link works independently of any performance in BookLive — it’s a standalone page for collecting general testimonials.
  • BookLive includes spam protection on the form, including rate limiting (a single IP address can submit no more than 3 reviews per hour per group).
  • Reviews from this link are separate from reviews collected automatically after performances. Both types are managed from the same Reviews tab.
  • Add external review platforms (Google, WeddingWire, GigSalad, etc.) under MarketingReviews to prompt reviewers to share their feedback there too after submitting.
  • Your public review page is only active if your group profile is published.
