BookLive lets you record dietary restrictions for each musician on your roster and surfaces that information automatically on any performance where a confirmed musician has a restriction on file. This is especially useful when your event includes a catered meal — you can copy the full list and hand it directly to the caterer in seconds.
Setting a Musician’s Dietary Restrictions #
Dietary restrictions can be set in two places: by the group manager from the artist’s profile, or by the musician themselves from their own Musician Profile page.
As a Group Manager #
- Go to Musicians in the left sidebar and click the musician’s name to open their profile.
- Locate the Dietary Restrictions field and enter any relevant restrictions (e.g., “Vegetarian”, “Gluten-free”, “Nut allergy”).
- Click Save to update the profile.
As the Musician (Self-Service) #
- Log in at https://booklive.com/login and navigate to your Musician Profile.
- Find the Dietary Restrictions field under your personal details and enter your restriction(s).
- Click Save Changes.
Viewing Dietary Restrictions on a Performance #
Once at least one confirmed musician on a performance has a dietary restriction on file, a Dietary Restrictions strip automatically appears in the Musicians tab of that performance.
- Open the performance and click the Musicians tab.
- If any confirmed musicians have dietary restrictions recorded, the strip appears at the top of the tab with a 🍽️ icon.
- Each musician’s name is listed alongside their restriction.
Copying the List for a Caterer #
The dietary strip includes a Copy button in the top-right corner. Clicking it copies the full formatted list to your clipboard — ready to paste into an email, text, or catering form.
Tips & Notes #
- Only confirmed musicians appear in the dietary strip. Musicians who have been invited but haven’t yet accepted will not show up.
- If no confirmed musicians have dietary restrictions, the strip is hidden entirely — it only appears when relevant.
- Dietary restrictions are stored on the musician’s profile and carry over automatically to every performance they’re confirmed for, so you only need to set it once.
- You can click a musician’s name in the dietary strip to navigate directly to their profile.
