Tracking Partnership Performance History

BookLive automatically tracks your booking history with each partnership, giving you valuable insights into which relationships are generating the most business.

Viewing Performance History #

To see your history with a partner:

  1. Open the partnership detail view
  2. Click the Performances or History tab
  3. View all past and upcoming performances with this partner

What’s Tracked #

For each partnership, BookLive tracks:

Performance Count #

The total number of performances (gigs) you’ve booked with this venue or planner. This includes:

  • Completed performances
  • Upcoming confirmed bookings
  • Historical data from before you started tracking

Performance Value #

The total revenue generated from performances with this partner. This helps you identify your most valuable relationships.

Using Performance Metrics #

Sorting by Performance #

In your Gig Vault list, you can sort partnerships by:

  • Performance count – See who gives you the most bookings
  • Performance value – See who generates the most revenue

This helps you identify your top partners at a glance.

Prioritizing Relationships #

Use performance data to prioritize your efforts:

  • High-value partners – Maintain strong relationships, consider exclusive arrangements
  • Growing partners – Nurture relationships showing increased bookings
  • Declining partners – Re-engage or investigate why bookings have dropped
  • New partners – Track initial bookings to identify promising relationships

Individual Performance Details #

From the Performances tab, you can:

  • Click on any performance to view full details
  • See performance dates and times
  • View the quoted/paid amounts
  • Access contracts and invoices
  • Review event details and notes

How Data is Connected #

Performance history is linked automatically when:

  • A performance is booked at a venue you have a partnership with
  • A performance comes from a planner you’ve added to your vault
  • The venue or planner on a booking matches a partnership record

Make sure your partnership records use the same venue/planner records as your performances for accurate tracking.

Analyzing Trends #

Look for patterns in your performance data:

  • Seasonal patterns – Do some partners book more at certain times?
  • Event types – What kinds of events does each partner typically book?
  • Growth trends – Are bookings increasing or decreasing over time?
  • Average deal size – Calculate value per performance

Best Practices #

  • Review regularly – Check performance metrics monthly
  • Update partnership status – Move active bookers to “Active” status
  • Thank top partners – Acknowledge your best relationships
  • Re-engage quiet partners – Reach out to partners who haven’t booked recently
