If your Google Calendar is not syncing properly with BookLive, this guide will help you diagnose and fix common issues.
Events Not Appearing #
First, check your connection status in Settings, Google Calendar tab. Verify your account shows as connected. If disconnected, reconnect your account.
Next, check your auto-sync setting. Ensure auto-sync is enabled. If disabled, use the manual Sync Now button.
Also verify the performance status. Only confirmed performances sync to Google Calendar. Make sure the performance is confirmed (not pending or cancelled), you are assigned to the performance, and the performance has a valid date and time.
Duplicate Events #
If you see duplicate events, check if you manually created an event for the same performance. Try disconnecting and reconnecting your calendar. Delete duplicates manually from Google Calendar.
Events Not Updating #
If changes are not reflected, try a manual sync from Settings. Wait a few minutes as syncs may have a slight delay. Check that your connection is still active.
Connection Lost #
Common causes include: changed Google password (reconnect after), revoked permissions (check Google account settings), and expired OAuth tokens (simply reconnect).
Wrong Calendar #
Events are added to your primary Google Calendar. Make sure you are viewing your primary calendar, check that the calendar is not hidden, and verify you connected the correct Google account.
Still Having Issues? #
Try disconnecting your Google Calendar completely, clearing your browser cache, signing out of Google, then reconnecting fresh. Contact support if issues continue.
