BookLive offers two subscription tiers — a free plan and a Pro plan — so you can start building your performing business at no cost and upgrade when you’re ready to unlock advanced tools. This article explains what each plan includes, how to check your current subscription, and where to manage or upgrade your plan.
Plan Overview #
Free Plan — $0/month #
Every BookLive account starts on the Free plan. It includes the core tools you need to present yourself professionally and manage bookings:
- Online marketplace profile (visible to clients and venues)
- Client and venue management
- Setlist management
- Accept credit card deposits and payments from clients
- Professional digital contract (standard template)
- Visibility on venues’ Preferred Vendor pages
- Priority listing in marketplace search
Pro Plan — $40/month #
Upgrading to Pro unlocks advanced tools for growing and scaling your performing business. Pro includes everything in the Free plan, plus:
- Embedded Express Booking Tool — Let clients book and pay you directly from your website or booking link
- Pay Members via Direct Deposit — Pay your musicians directly through BookLive (unlimited)
- Personalized Business Cards — BookLive-branded cards tied to your profile
- Customizable Pricing Packages — Build and present tailored pricing options to clients
- Exclusive Pro Performance Opportunities — Access to gig leads and opportunities reserved for Pro members
- Automated Gig Promotion Tool — Promote your availability and performances automatically
How to Check Your Current Plan #
- Log into your BookLive dashboard at booklive.com/login.
- In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or the grey avatar icon.
- Click Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Click the Subscription tab.
Your current plan name is displayed at the top of the Subscription tab, along with the number of performances you’ve booked this month.
How to Upgrade to Pro #
- Navigate to Settings → Subscription (see steps above).
- Click the Update Subscription button.
- You’ll be taken to your customer dashboard at fulltimemusicacademy.com/customers/dashboard.
- From there, you can upgrade your plan, view your billing details, or make changes to your subscription.
Tips & Notes #
- Billing is handled externally — Your BookLive subscription is managed through the Fulltime Music Academy customer portal, not directly within the BookLive app.
- Pro status applies per group — If you have multiple performance groups in BookLive, Pro features are activated at the group level. Check each group’s status if you manage more than one.
