Using Song Discovery to Expand Your Library

Song Discovery gives you access to a master library of songs with performance analytics and resources. Use it to find popular songs, see what’s working for other groups, and quickly add songs to your repertoire.

Accessing Song Discovery #

To access the Song Discovery feature:

  1. Navigate to your group’s Songs section
  2. Click on Song Discovery
  3. Browse the master song library

What You Can See #

For each song in the master library, you can view:

  • Title and Artist – Basic song information
  • Album and Genre – Additional categorization
  • Performance Count – How many times this song has been performed
  • Total Earnings – Revenue generated from this song
  • Average Earnings – Per-performance revenue

Available Resources #

Many songs in the master library include resources:

  • YouTube Video – Reference performance
  • Spotify Link – Audio reference
  • Piano/Vocal Score – Sheet music
  • Guitar Chords – Chord charts
  • Backing Track – Instrumental version
  • String Quartet Arrangement – Ensemble parts

Searching and Filtering #

Find songs using various methods:

  • Search – By title, artist, album, or genre
  • Sort by – Performance count, earnings, recently added
  • Order – Ascending or descending

Adding Songs to Your Library #

To add a song from discovery to your library:

  1. Find the song you want
  2. Click Add to Library
  3. Select which music collection to add it to
  4. The song is created in your library with a link to the master song

If the song already exists in your library, it will be linked to the master song for resource access.

Pro Features #

Song Discovery has enhanced features for Pro groups:

  • Full access – Browse the entire master library
  • Complete analytics – See all performance statistics
  • All resources – Access all available resources

Non-Pro groups can see the top 10 most popular songs to get started.

Best Practices #

  • Check popularity – High-performing songs are proven crowd-pleasers
  • Use resources – Take advantage of available scores and tracks
  • Build strategically – Add songs that fill gaps in your repertoire
  • Consider earnings – Higher-earning songs may command premium pricing
