Using the Dream Team Feature in BookLive

The Dream Team is a BookLive add-on service that gives you access to a dedicated team of assistants — including web designers, video editors, and admin support — who can handle tasks on your behalf. When you have Dream Team time allocated to your account, you can submit requests directly through BookLive, track their progress, and communicate with the team — all without leaving the platform.

Before You Begin #

  • Dream Team access is a paid add-on and is not included in the base BookLive subscription. Contact your BookLive account manager if you’re interested in adding it.
  • Your allocated monthly time must be greater than zero to submit paid requests. Your available time resets each month.

Step 1: Open the Dream Team Dashboard #

  1. Log in at https://booklive.com/login.
  2. From the main dashboard (Home), locate the Dream Team Requests section.

At the top of the section, BookLive displays how much allocated time you have remaining for the current month, shown in hours and minutes. If your allocated time is zero, you’ll see a notice indicating that no Dream Team time is available.

Step 2: Submit a New Request #

  1. Click the Submit New Request button in the top-right corner of the Dream Team panel.
  2. In the dialog that appears, fill in the following fields:
    • Request Title — A short, clear name for the task (e.g., “Update homepage hero image” or “Edit intro video”).
    • Request Description — A detailed explanation of what you need done. Be as specific as possible — include links, file references, dimensions, deadlines, or any other context that helps the team complete the task correctly.
  3. Click Submit to send your request to the queue.

You’ll see a confirmation message once your request has been received. The request will immediately appear in your Pending list.

Step 3: Track Your Requests #

All of your requests are organized into three status tabs:

  • Pending — Requests that have been submitted but not yet started.
  • In Progress — Requests the Dream Team is currently working on.
  • Completed — Requests that have been finished and delivered.

Click any tab to filter the list. Each request row shows the request title, current status, the date it was submitted, and an estimated completion date (when provided by the team). You can also see your Position in Queue for any pending or in-progress request, so you know where your task sits relative to other requests.

Step 4: View Request Details and Notes #

Click any row in the request table to expand it and see additional details:

  • Description — The full text of your original request.
  • Notes — Updates or questions added by Dream Team members. Notes include the team member’s name and a timestamp, so you can follow the conversation and understand what’s happening with your task.

If a team member leaves a note asking for clarification or additional assets, you’ll want to check back here regularly and respond through your BookLive account manager or the communication channel your team uses.

Tips & Notes #

  • The more detail you provide in your request description, the faster the Dream Team can complete it without needing follow-up questions.
  • Monthly allocated time does not roll over — any unused hours reset at the start of the next billing period.
  • If you need to request something outside your allocated time, contact your BookLive account manager about adding more Dream Team hours.
  • The queue position reflects the order of all pending and in-progress requests across all users, not just yours — so your position may shift as other requests are completed.
